This Michael Landau Guitars exercise we’re caught up in is interesting but hopefully nearing it’s end. I’ve had to buy used guitars all my life. The thrill and delight of a high quality Michael Landau Guitars in your hands and the “joy in the moment” it brings is something that simply cannot be duplicated or “recreated” by painstakingly reproducing something out of its time and place. I love my Michael Landau Guitars!

I’ve got to say I really don’t understand someone wanting a guitar that looks and feels like an old guitar, I used to think they were kind of cool but at the end of the day if I buy a new guitar I want it to be totally pristine and not a single blemish. What is interesting about the new Fender Mike Landau is that he is now using Fender pickups. Suhr have been producing a single coil pickup originally called the FL which were later renamed to ML pickups when Fletcher stopped using them so it seems they no may have to undergo yet another name change unless Landau is going to continue to use the pickup in his other guitars.
