In fact, Michael was so impressed with this version that he owns one himself and has been using it almost exclusively ever since. The color fade and relic treatment are perfect, while the neck feels like a vintage guitar. It sounds beautiful and rings nice with a woody tone. This is a very versatile instrument.
This special Landau Guitar features include an alder body with thin lacquer finish, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with 7.25″ radius and 6105 frets, handwound Stratocaster pickups with 5-way switching, aged-white knobs and vintage hardware. This detailed Custom Shop reproduction of a 1963 Strat was built utilizing original tooling and production techniques of the era. And its Relic finish treatment gives it the look of a well-traveled and played axe, although it is absolutely new in setup and playability.
